CONNECTIONS

PARADE HOSPITALITY: We would like to host a hospitality table with free drinks at the Fourth of July parade and the Bagelfest parade. Would you be willing to help us open our facility for either of these parades?

DINNER AT BRIAN AND DANELLE’S HOUSE: We are offering six evenings in July for you to come to our house for dinner. Please sign up or give us a call to let us know what date would work best for your family. Brian and Danelle will provide the main course (which is different each meal) and ask that you would bring a side dish. Dates are Friday, July 13, Saturday, July 14, Friday, July 20, Saturday, July 21, Tuesday, July 24, and Monday, July 30. All meals start at 6PM. We hope you will bring your entire family. We are limiting each dinner to a maximum of twelve people.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY: There are currently two houses being built in Charleston. If you are interested in helping with the “builds,” let Pastor Brian know. Also they are planning their annual Habifeast, a fundraising event meant to inform the community about Habitat. If you are interested in helping with Habifeast, let Pastor Brian know.

HAITI MISSION TRIP: The first work team will start building the school in Marfranc, the Haitian village that has become the center of our focus-area September 23-October 1. The second team will work November 11-19. Team members will meet in Miami that Sunday evening, then fly into Haiti on Monday (and back home on the following Monday). You need a passport, which can a couple of months to get, and you need some vaccinations. Application can be made online at www.newlifeforhaiti.org.

PADS (our local homeless shelter) is looking for volunteers in the early evening to prepare meals. If you are interested, contact Nathaniel West.
