Important Changes – Please Take Note
KidStuf is taking a break during December. We hope to restart in January.

December 19 (Wed) - 6:30PM - Caroling followed by Hot Chocolate

December 23 (Sun) - 6PM - Christmas Evening Service

December 30 (Sun) - 10AM – Tough Questions – Fill out a card with a tough question, and Pastor Brian will use the questions to preach the last Sunday morning in 2007.

Starting in January, we will start a new program in our church that will introduce important preaching themes, encourage reading of critical Bible passages, individual and group prayer, and gathering twice a month in home groups. The hope is to build community friendships and to disciple people in following Jesus Christ.

January 12 (Sat) - 6PM - New Life For Haiti Banquet at The Walkway here in Mattoon. This is a tremendous event! All the money raised will go toward building projects in Marfranc, Haiti. There will be a wonderful catered meal, an outstanding presentation concerning this ministry, and the Amy White band will play from 9-11PM. Please register online at www.newlifeforhaiti.org. There is no cost to attend but gracious donations are encouraged.

To make the New Life for Haiti Banquet an incredible event, we are giving away a TV. We would like to offset this cost with gifts toward the purchase. If you are willing, place a donation in the wicker basket on the back table.

December 10 (Mon) - 7PM - Wingman Men studying Sacred Marriage – All men are welcome.
December 12 (Wed) - 6:30PM - ROCK & RIOT Youth Groups - 4th to 12th Grades
December 14 (Fri) - 8:30AM - New Life for Haiti Planning @ Common Grounds
December 15 (Sat) – The Salvation Army has designated December 15th Local Church Day. You can ring for as long or as short a time as you like in 1 hour increments.

December 30 (Sun) - 12PM (Over lunch) - KidStuf Production Staff Meeting
December 30 (Sun) - 5PM - Kid’s Church Staff Meeting

Salvation Army has 36 angels left that have not even made it on the tree yet. Would any of you be willing to help a child in need this Christmas? Tricia Kay Coffey, 217-234-3915
