All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."

Christmas Service – On December 21st at 6PM, we will have a Christmas service with candles and communion. It will be a quieter, reflective service. We hope you will join us.

Weekly Offerings – We have been coming in short on our weekly offering in order to pay out our current expenses. The checkbook dropped below $500 this week. At this rate, we will finish the year about $1000 behind. We know the economy is tight, but we also know that you want to be informed about the financial situation of The Crossover. Please look at your regular giving to see if we can raise our monthly giving to meet our expenses, and if you are able to give a bit extra to help us finish the year strong, we would appreciate it.

Pray for the City – Starting January 16th, we will join area churches in praying for our city for 30 days. There will be daily prayer guides, a 24 hour prayer vigil, weekly events on Wednesday at noon to pray for various aspects of our city (government, education, health care, and economic vitality). We hope you will plan to join us in this endeavor.
