CALENDAR
TODAY (Sun) – 11:30AM – Carry-in Lunch. We’ll provide Chicken and Fish, drinks, and tableware.
TODAY (Sun) – 6:30PM – Cathy Snyder’s Home Group is bowling at Charleston Lanes.
April 6 (Mon) – 7PM - Wingman Men’s Ministry
April 7 (Tue) – 7PM – Financial Peace
April 8 (Wed) – 6:30PM – ROCK & RIOT Youth Groups
April 8 (Wed) – 6PM – Marlyn’s Home Group
April 8 (Wed) – 7PM – Our worship band will play a revival in Martinsville, IL. Come and support us!
April 12 (Sun) – EASTER!! Invite your friends to join us for this special Sunday!
April 13 (Mon) – 5:45PM – Michelle’s Home Group
April 22 (Wed) – 6:30PM – Randy’s Home Group
April 26 (Sun) – Collecting spare change the Needs Team!
April 26 (Sun) – 2PM – Nursing Home Worship Service @ Douglas Rehabilitation Center
April 26 (Sun) – 6PM – Help us decorate Kid’s Church for the month of May
May 17 (Sun) – 6PM – Prayer Night to prepare for CORE Weekend
June 27-28 (Sat-Sun) – CORE Weekend – Community Service Projects all weekend!
Food Bank – We contacted Salvation Army and asked what non-perishable food items they could use, and they said cans of tuna, peanut butter, mac and cheese, spaghetti and sauce. Let’s buy these items and bring them to church until Easter. Then we will deliver them to Salvation Army.
Graduation – If anyone is graduating from High School or College, please let Pastor Brian know so we can honor them in May!
Haiti Mission Trip – July 14th-21st – We are taking a week long mission trip to our work in southern Haiti. A maximum of eight can go. Currently we have four.
Immediately – Fill out an application at www.newlifeforhaiti.org and give a $100 non-refundable deposit check to Pastor Brian made out to New Life For Haiti.
Immediately – If you don’t have a passport, apply for one at the County Courthouse.
Immediately – Talk to Pastor Brian about getting immunizations for Hepatitis.
Immediately – Begin praying daily for the trip to be fruitful for the Kingdom.
By June 1st – $500 non-refundable payment to New Life For Haiti for airline tickets.
By July 1st – Have $800 for the remaining trip expenses. Total cost is $1,400.
Offering – We don’t “pass a plate” at The Crossover, but we do take an offering in the box by the door. All of our ministries are financed from this one source. We would appreciate your help.
