The Five Things – #2 Face Your Heart and Life

I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. – John 15:1-2

Haiti Trip Fund Raiser – On Friday, May 15, 6:30PM, Randy Myers will host a Texas Holdem’ Poker tournament at his house. A donation of $10-$20 per person is appreciated to play. As per the rules of gambling, you will lose all your money and the winner will only get the privilege of gloating and a traveling trophy. We will host two or three more tournaments before the Haiti trip in July.

Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build – We have an incredible opportunity to help build a home for a deserving family in Charleston. On May 16th, you can volunteer to help build. No skills are required. See Eric Boerngen for more information.

Tough Question Sunday – On 5th Sundays, we do Tough Question Sunday, where anyone can ask Pastor Brian a question and not just get an answer, but get an idea of how to approach a tough question. If you have a tough question about the Bible or life in general, write it on a card and place it in the Offering Box or give it to Brian. This is a great Sunday to invite your friends and even encourage them to ask tough questions.

Offering – We don’t “pass a plate” at The Crossover, but we do take an offering in the box by the door. All of our ministries are financed from this one source. We would appreciate your help.

Graduation – If anyone is graduating from High School or College, please let Pastor Brian know so we can honor them in May!
