May 27 (Wed) – 6:30PM – Randy’s Home Group
May 24 (Sun) – Collecting spare change the Needs Team!
May 30 (Sat) – 9AM – Church building work day
May 30 (Sat) – 1-4PM – Real World Parents with Lance Finley in Charleston
May 31 (Sun) – 10AM – Tough Question Sunday
May 31 (Sun) – 6PM – Help us decorate Kid’s Church for the month of May
June 7 (Sun) – 11:30AM – Carry-in Lunch. We’ll provide the meat, drinks, and tableware.
June 27-28 (Sat-Sun) – CORE Weekend – Community Service Projects all weekend!
CORE Registration Starts Today – See Maria Boerngen with questions. Turn in finished registration sheets to Maria. We also have this week and next week to sign up for T-Shirts.
Tough Question Sunday – On 5th Sundays, we do Tough Question Sunday, where anyone can ask Pastor Brian a question and not just get an answer, but get an idea of how to approach a tough question. If you have a tough question about the Bible or life in general, write it on a card and place it in the Offering Box or give it to Brian. This is a great Sunday to invite your friends and even encourage them to ask tough questions.
We’re Grilling – On Sunday June 7th at our Carry-in lunch, we’re grilling burgers and dogs. We’ll supply the meat, but we need some of you to supply the grills that morning. Let Pastor Brian or Bill or Jo Tomlin know if you can bring one.
Real World Parents Seminar: Lance Finley is speaking at East Harrison Street Church of God in Charleston on Sat May 30, 1-4PM. Cost is Free. Real World Parents offers hope to families and energizes the family to become ambassadors for Christ in their church and community. Real World Parents starts with where your family is at rather than where someone else has been. Real World Parents cultivates the faith of children without them rolling their eyes at corny ideas that never work.
Habitat for Humanity Blitz Build – This has been postponed. We will let you know the new date.
Offering – We don’t “pass a plate” at The Crossover, but we do take an offering in the box by the door. All of our ministries are financed from this one source. We would appreciate your help.
